There is new chapter in himalaya-info.org - panorama photos from some viewpoints (Chukhung Ri, Gokyo Ri, Kang La etc) with peak names and altitudes. I think it would be interesting for first time trekkers similarly as for experienced ones. Look http://www.himalaya-info.org/aussichtspunkte.htm

A very interesting and useful set of photographs. They're pretty good photos as well. I wish I could get results like that. Well worth a look.

Great shots, very informative for someone like me that hasn't seen these peaks in real life.

Go here for photographs of my trek to Everest Base Camp in February 2008,

Gallery includes a 14-shot composite panorama from Kalar Pattar's summit, a man with a fridge-freezer on his head and a frozen pair of pants...

    Thedunno,

How beautiful! Thanks for sharing those wonderful pictures! Beni to Juphal, via Dh*** & T***! What an adventure. And you even got to see the mythique Cristal M! Woww! Were you just the two of you? Do you know how many trekkers were out there this spring? Hope it won't get too popular. We were out there in Oct. 2006 but we didn't make it to T*** because of the early snow, however, we continnued all the way to Jumla! ...
