We will be at home in Leicestershire having a few drinks and a good Christmas dinner and afterwards .... a nap. Well, that's what oldies do. But we will be looking forward to our trips to Nepal on January 16th for 2 months and then Western Australia in September for 4 months.

I know it's an old post but "didi" is "big sister" If you go into a lodge run by an older lady (as opposed to a couple of young guys) then you will be okay to say "Nameste, didi!" I frequently get the gretting from locals as I pass by "Nameste, Baje!" and quite often I reply "Nameste, bhai" This usually causes a lot of smiles and breaks the ice.

Have a Happy Christmas and a Great New Year,
