    Default Annapurna Circuit March 2014

    Hi my name is Kitty,

I’m looking for some friendly companions to walk the Annapurna Circuit and share the experience with. Like minded, easy going individuals that go with the flow. Enjoy the views and take home some happy memories.
Heading out to Nepal beginning of March...taking 4 weeks of work. No set plan at mo…easy to go with a guide or without….still researching.
Don’t want to rush round it, would like to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the views.
Look forward to hearing from you, Kitty

    Hi Bill,
Thanks for the email. I'm very excited about going to Nepal, been on the 'wish' list for some time. Got a map and book, so that's a start....
Hope you have a good trip,
    Kitty

Hey I am going to do the circuit from the 6th or 7th of March for 16 days I think.
It's my first time doing anything like this.
I only booked my flights today!

Might see you there Kitty. My wife and I start AC on the 6th March. Australian couple both age 48, second time trekking Nepal for my wife and 5th time for me. We are going to get a porter/guide. We did that for Everest Base Camp trek last year and went really well. Looking forward to doing Annapurna Circuit again I did it 9 years ago.
    cheers

    Hi Ross and Julie,
Yer might well see you there Very exciting, never walked that far before... hope my legs cope! I've got a guide sorted and hopefully a walking buddy.
I'm sure it will be really interesting to see the AC after 9 years, see how it's changed..hopefully not too much. Got any top tips???

    top tips??
to quote from your 1st post Kitty
"Donít want to rush round it, would like to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the views."
do this and you can't go wrong i reckon!
oh and don't pack too much stuff - especially if you are carrying it.
Just take it easy first few days see how the legs cope.
We only have about 15 trekking days so we might fly out of Jomsom, still havent decided yet. But some side-trips off the main trail are on the cards. ie high route from Pisang to Manang, and maybe from Muktinath to Kagbeni thru Jhong.
any other questions feel free to pm me
    cheers Ross
