    Default choquequirao in Peru

We are trekking Choquequirao to Machu Picchu in 7 days starting on May 17, 2013. We are using Apus Peru to organize our trek. There are only two of us, and the price goes down significantly(!) if we get more trekkers to join us. Are you interested?

Choquequirao is Machu Picchu's "lost sister", still half engulfed in the jungle. Because a bridge was washed out a couple of years ago, you need to cross a river in a cable car. The elevations are high (acclimitize for 3+ days in Cuzco to prepare). After visiting Choquequirao we trek over several high passes and take a short bus ride to Aguas Calientes and tour Machu Picchu the next morning before taking the train back to Cuzco.

Here's a description of the trek:

Contact Apus Peru or check out their Trekkers Wanted page to join the trek.
