It would probably be wise to check the fine print these days. I found it easier to call them and ask someone in the insurance office directly about specific scenarios, telling them exactly where I was going, and what the conditions might be. As in: doing trekking/walking, not climbing or absailing, in what region, etc. At the time they seemed to be happy with this.
