    You can go alone with a guide or porter but then you will hve to pay for the other permit so if you for some reason cant find anybody you can still go.

    thx Kegarne. Thats good to know. I dont need too much comfort. The only thing I want to avoid would be bed bugs. Imagine getting them on the first days of a long trek.
