    On the contrary, I found the wifi speeds and connections in the Everest region quite good. Namche was excellent and even up in Lobuche and Gorak Shep it did work!

    Sorry to hurt your sentiments Landfall but most of the Twin Otters running on the Lukla and Jomsom flights are nearing retirement!! They have given yeoman service for many years to the trekking...

    Just returned from Nepal. I was in upper Mustang. Along with Langtang, Manaslu and Tsum has sustained severe damage. THe ABC trek seems reasonably better as the area north of Pokhara and Pokhara...

    It is hot in the valleys Julia Kathmandu is around 28-32 celsius in the day.. more than the temperatures the monsoon brings in very high humidity!

    The last two weeks of September can be very good in Nar Phu, Mustang of course and maybe even Tsum valley and Manaslu!

    As far as I know there is no restriction on camping at EBC. You will have to have your own stove and food. If you go in summer the base camp will be very full as the designated expeditions will have...

    If you are going to the Everest region in the high season then tickets to Lukla become a problem if you dont book in advance!
