    there are 3 lodges in Lungden, if those will be full, then there was one lodge in Marulung and if even that is full, Thame is only 2hours down from Lungden and has several lodges

    We trekked April/Ma 2008 in Khumbu started the trek from Jiri via Namche to Chhukhung, Lobuche, Gokyo, Thame and Lukla, there were no Maoists collecting money along the trail
