Situation between Ghorepani and Tadapani

Has any one heard of any bad experiences between Ghorepani and Tadapani on the Anapuna hike?
I have heard that is is a trouble area?

Anyone been there recently?
what was it like?
(as I am planning a hike soon)

I dont the actuall situation, but in the past years, there have been some robberies and assaults in this area.
The best thing ist just to form a little group of 3 to 4 trekkers for this day and it should be OK
