Phaplu v Lukla

Will be flying out after EBC trek in November and know Lukla has a reputation for delays/cancellations. Anyone got any info about services out of Phaplu? Are they more reliable, whats the flight frequency and cost compared to Lukla?

It is the Himalaya Lodge. I came back on May 22 when there were big crowds coming down from BC, and they just put on extra flights to accomodate us.
