Annapurna - Thorong La pass

Thanks to all who replied to my previous questions on the Annapurna circuit. You have been very informative and helpful.

I have one other question: What are the odds that the Thorong La pass might be closed due to snow and weather on or about Nov. 22 or Nov 15? My plan to start the trek would have me at Thorong La on Nov. 22 but I am wondering if I should start 1 week earlier in order to have better odds of the pass being open. However the later dates work much better for my situation.

Sounds as good a time as any to go, however take a good guide who knows the area, it is possible to get in to problems if you do not know the area. Can recommend one if needed, let me know. Enjoy.
