Trekker's information Management System and TRC what ever called will implement from Jan 1, 2008. 2 regional counters and 400 assistance counters will setup for control illegal tour/trekking operation. More information please e-mail concerns trekking agency and TAAN.

What is your source for this information? I can find no mention of the reintroduction of the TRC anywhere online, not on TAAN's site nor in the news. The only information I have found comes from you. Where did you find this out? Where is the "official" information for tourists?

400 assistance counters? Sound a bit too ambitious. Tourist information centers, run by the local communities, would make some sense though.

Rishi, I hope that you are aware that every time the word TRC is pronounced you lose visitors and customers and wind up in an even more desperate situation economically. The effect on visitor statistics is comparable with reports of maoist demanding money. People simply opt out, make other plans, go elsewhere. It is as simple as that :cool:

I got E-mail from TAAN Dec 13, 2007 Evening Nepali Script . In Dec 23,2007 journalist interaction program in Nepal tourism board about TIMS/TRC.

Yes you are right cause of TRC/TIMS less tourist and Wants to bring many tourist by Dragan air, Oriental Thai,Silk air ,Malaysian air &Hongkong Express ,Ethithad air and Shreelanka air more others wants to fly Nepal.
