Experience Nepal...

Hi Jann,
During two bandhs in the past I could go to the airport by cycle riksha, I think there will be allways a possibility, even if it may be more expensive.
Sometimes there are still flights between Kathmandu and Pokhara, this would be a possibility to go straight to Pokhara if the band is still continuing. The domestic airport is about a km away.
Acap office is normalyy closed an saturday and probably during bandh, there is one in Kathmandu and one in Pokhara at lakeside.
If you are allready in Pokhara you could get the permit and start the same morning (but only if bandh is allready finished because there will be no taxis or buses)
During March and April there is a high risk of avalanches on the way to ABC. I think it is possible. Any more informatiom pleasr contact me as following address:-
