Hello Nick from Kathmandu

Tourists are a rare breed for some reason!!!.The situation here for tourists trekking in the main trekking areas is still very safe and it is worth remembering this struggle we have to cope with has been around for six years with to date no tourist affected in any way.
I try hard not to use this phorum as an opening for business but at least something to do would... at the very least be .........interesting I hope!!

Good on you Nick. Keep the flag flying. I try to convince people considering Nepal as a holiday destination, that they should proceed with their plans. While the opinions and interpretations on the situation in Nepal waxes and wanes, I am still convinced that it is a safe holiday destination for tourists. I also have the hard data on my side on this one - no tourist was killed or threatened, every thing else is just opinion. And as someone famous once said: "Opinions are like bums. Everybody has got one. Just that some are more atractive than others..."
