Is it better to book flights back from Lukla via a travel agent in Kathmandu or via the actual airline office in Kathmandu ?

It does not matter much. The price is about the same. In fact some agents (travel or trekking) can sometimes obtain cheaper prices but it will only be a few dollars difference, as in 89 instead of 93 or somthing. Not worth loosing sleep over it.

IT is better to book the flight from lukla to kathmandu in kathmandu. From kathmandu you can get discount also as well as you get confirmed seat. Some time from lukla you can not get sit.
