Nepal News reports and increas in tourist numbers in last month, compared to Oct 06 by 18%. The most significant increses to me were the ones from USA and Canada (over 40 %, respectively) which happened despite the silly travel advisories in those coutries.
Apparently the first 9 months of 07 showed a 33% increase over last year, with the biggest increases from Sweden and China. There's a lot in common between these countries, of course.
