travel in May/June

Hi, Thinking of going to Nepal in May/June even with the monsoon and other troubles. Any advice about trekking to everest region during this time. Anyone else thinking of going during this time? Would like to go to trek Lukla to Tamboche.

Hi David and Melitta,

Wish to trek in the Everest region starting late April, early May. I am m/24 wishing to trek independently and inexpensively. It would be my first time in Nepal although I have trekked in the Indian Himalayas. Wish to trek in the Everest region, 20-25 days Lukla to Everest Base Camp / Gokyo Ri. As of now I am trekking alone and would like to meet up with others who are trekking in the same region at the same time ...

Maybe (awful pun I know) I will be around that time. I plan to fly into Kathmandu in mid May and then explore the Himalyas maybe popping into India before returning to Kathmandu in July to go trekking with friends so would love oppotunity to get warmed in the trekking arts
