safe travel to pokhara

hello, we are arriving tomorrow and due to the violence we were thinking that it might be safer to fly to pokhara from kathmandu rather than take a bus.

Does anyone know how much it costs to fly to pokhara, and if we can buy tickets at the airport, or if we have to go to a travel agency???

As well, does anyone know a cheap trekking company that we could hook up with in pokhara to do the Jomsom trail???

It is better and faster to fly to Pokhara.. the cost is about $67 dollars US and yes, you can get tickets at the domestic terminal in ktm.. if you arrive after 3 PM, however, you may have to wait until the next day, because the last flights out are around 4 PM. Mountain Air and Buddha Air generally are the best but others are OK too (Royal Nepal is least reliable).
