Annapurna Circuit/equipment Anonymous Tue 12 Feb, 10:31 [Tue 12 Feb, 10:31]
I am at the stage of deciding about equipment - what to take and whether to rent it locally. I intend going on the AC around 18.3. At the end of the AC trek I intend going to the Sanctuary and base camp. So I expect to be out trekking in diverse elevations and climates between 18.3 and 18.4.
I would appreciate any advice on the subject.

Hi Ana,
I am planning to go on the Annapurna circuit in the 3rd week of March. You plan to go in April. Well, before anything else, both our plans may depend a lot on the political situation in Nepal which is getting worse everyday. (Or better everyday depending on your point of view). The Maoist revolutionaries are having a pretty serious struggle with the government forces. If this continues without some kind of resolution it may get a little too "hot" for tourists in Nepal.

I have done some research about trekking at Annapurna and would be happy to share the information I have.
