Check out the URL above. My travel agent just confirmed my flight from Tokyo via Hong Kong at a very good price ( for this part of the world, just less than 1000 US ).
There is no one night stay in Bangkok etc.
This is great news. I fly Cathay to Hong Kong then switch to Dragon for the second bit

Thanks Suginami. We from Australia and New Zealand will also find it easier and more flexible. With Dragonair from HK and Silk from Singapore, plus the customary Bangkok and Delhi options, we now have at least four springboards form Asia into Kathmandu.
Great stuff. Hopefully the competition will lower the prices a bit, 'cause Thai (the usual suspect) is good but very expensive.

Dragon Air leaves HK at 18.55 arrives in KTH at 22.05 and departs at 22.55 arriving HK at 5.55. So maybe you could do Cathay up to Hong Kong and then carry on with Dragon.
In my case I leave Tokyo 10. 35 am and arrive in KTM the same day which is fab.
Coming back I transit in HK for a few hours which is no biggy.

Sounds great. I think one can also arrive in one day from Sydney if there's some morning flight leaving from HK.
I will definitely try it next time.
Cheers
