well i guess you will not start from ABC. I´ve seen some Japanese people just flying in by helicopter.....
The Annapurnaregion would be a good place for short treks.
1, Pokhara-Dhamphus-Landrung-Gandrung-Pokhara (3-4 days) or Pokhara-Nayaphul-Birethanti-Ulleri-Gorepani with poon Hill-Tatopani-Beni-Pokhara (4-5 days)
you can have a slight idea of the scenerys in my site www.nepal-dia.de.
From Pokhara you can go directly to chitwan in some hours.
Good luck Andrées

Hey,
Everybody have good news and have good information to you,
but at last they had recomended for someone.
See Diaen most of guide and proter always try to make you happy, my experienced that most of trek guide and porter are lovely one.
But I dont think so that you start from ABC ! How do you reach there, by Helicopter? if this is fine to do sightseeing trek!
Then trek back down.
if not then it is for 7-9days trek.
Other wise Just try to reach Poon Hill where you can see good views too all over the 300KM range
Krishna.
