Hello, with about ten days for trekking, you either could du the trekking to the Annapurna base camp or the jomsom trek.
At ABC you will have one of the greatest mountain scenerys I know. If you go back by Gorepani you have a full day walking in huge Rhododendron Forest with 15 m high trees in flower. (and dont miss the old center of Gandruk on the way)
For the jomsom trek the best would be to fly to jomson. This gives you enaught time to visit the upper villages of Kagbeni, Jharkot and Muktinath, all already in tibetan stile. You should count 2-3 days for this. If you walk fast enaught, you could even return by Gorepani and see the rododendrons.
Travelling in Nepal is not that hard anymore. Plenty of buses leave in the morning at 6:30 in Kathmandu am and reach Pokhara around 1:30 pm.you will get the tickets in your hotel or at an travelagent without any problem. Its a great ride.
Anyway, you will have to return to Kathmandu the day before, as you will have to be at the airport around 10:30 am, thats just enaugh for a breakfast and maybe a look at pashupatinath when you have not seen it before. Pasupathinath is on the way and very near to the airport. your Taxi will wait without a problem for half an hour.
Have a look at my pictures at www.nepal-dia.de there are many pictures of the annapurnaregion.
