A few days sight seeing in Kathmandu. Hire a taxi for a day to take you to Patan and Bhaktapur. A short trek into Helambu for a few days and down to Chitwan for a 3 days and you are done. Book your tour when you get to Kathmandu. Lots of choices and good deals in Thamel.
For a guide I used Rabin and he was excellent. We did a 13 day trek in langtang- helambu with him. He also took us for a day in Kathmandu which was excellent. Monkey temple, Dhurbar Square Here is his email
rabingurung@hotmail.com
You can say you got his name from Sharon and Miles.
