Recommendations for a short trip in nepal

There is nice 7 day trek out of Pokhara that does not go above 10,000 feet but has nice views. It is the first couple of days of the Annapurna Sanctuary trek and then you go west to meet up with the Jomsom trek to return to Pokhara. It includes Poon Hill which has great early morning views. Some people are now calling it the Skyline Trek and any of the agencies would recognize it if you gave the above description to them.

I am flying from Los Angeles to KTM in March on Thai Airways and the roundtrip fare is about $1,300 with the taxes.

Raaj and everyone else is correct.
I appologise, I did not notice you said July. Of course you can trek, it will be wet, it will be different, and you can only go up to about 3000 meters altitude or so. Still, you would see Nepal lush green and in a different mood to the usual trekking season.
