Shops in KTM on Saturday

Does anyone know if it is possible to rent down jackets in KTM on a Saturday or will shops be closed? I do remember from my last time in Nepal that administrations are closed on Saturday but I do not remember if this includes tourist shops where to rent trekking gear as well.
Similar question for the Kumbu National Park fee: is it still possible to buy it in Monjo on the way up to Namche? If not, will the office in the big Shopping Center at the entry of Thamel be open?

You can rent a downjacket on every day of the week.

Yes you can still also get your National Park entrance fee at Monjo

Nepalis keep the true Sabbath, unlike the pagan West, but you can still get any tourist stuff, and restaurants are open. Yumm!!
