Annapurna Circuit mid-august?

Hi,

I am a 21 year old female interested in doing the AC trek from mid august (departing on the 14th/15th/16th). I'm currently doing an internship at a human rights organisation in Kathmandu but I finish this on the 13th. I'm a student from England, easy going and up for a laugh, so if you're interested in trekking around this time please let me know!

I am travelling to Kathmandu on the 26. August 2007. I am also intending to do the Annapurna Circuit Trek. However, I will probably start on the 1. September. Would it be possible for you to start on the 1. September?
I will walk the trek with a guide that a friend recommended to me.
Would be great if we could walk together.

I'm a student from Holland and would like to do the annapurna-circuit around the 25th of August. Possible for you that's to late, but if it is not and you can start a bit later I would like to join you..

Around what date are you leaving Nepal? I leave the 22nd of september. I'm doinig my medical elective in Kanti hospital, kathmandu.

Alrighty!

I'll be arriving in Nepal around the 22nd Aug (although can be sooner if need be..im in india at mo and easy to change flights) and am keen to do either Annapurna or Everest starting asap. (I have to be back to UK by 10-12th Sept grr).

I'm 22 medic from Newcastle uni and have jus spent 3mnths in india..would be good to have some banter with you!

Hey all,

just heard from nepali in Kathmandu that Annapurna is not a superb idea this time of the year. the monsoon hit later than usual and it is likely that the high pass (the one above 5000m) is closed, but you will only know half way and then you might just have to return the exact same way.

maybe we can all go together in a group to BC everest?
