Folks,
We are planning a trek to the Annapourna region this Dec. One option would be to do the Sanctuary and then head up to Muktinath before flying out of Jomsom. A preferred itinerary would be to do the Circuit. My issue is whether passing through Thorong La would be ok for children ages 12 and 10. They are in reasonable shape but live at sea level in the tropics.
I would really appreciate comments as we are trying to make a decision on our route!
