hi there,
would appreciate if anyone has info on the application of the entrance into the everest region, ie., can i make payment within everest region itself or that i have to apply in kathmandu in order to pay less for the conservation fee.

Hi HL,

The cost of entry fee to the Everest region is Rs. 1000 (US $ 13). Same charge either you pay in Kathmandu or in Everest. You can pay in Thamel at Sanchayakosh building, where the Himalayan bank is. Or Jorsalle in the Everest region. Hope this helps. Nick is out of town for few days.
