Gday my name is Nick and i was planning on treking in Nepal in Late April 20th for about 3 weeks, meaning i will still be treking in early to mid may 2002. My concern was, Is this a good time to go treking as i have read that april is a good time to trek but may is not.
Is the visibility good at that time (ie is it too dusty) of year and are there treks or regions better suited to that time of year.
will it be easier or harder to find a guide and accomodation etc
or should i postpone my trip to a better time of year to visit nepal
Thanks

nick, I did a few trekkings in may and liked them.
Its pretty warm in the lower parts and you just might see the mountains in the early morning. On the other hand, you will already see a lot of flowers. Once I had at the End of April/Beginn of May every afternoon some rain, wich washed the scy, another year just no rain at all.
Find yourself a nice trek in Kumbu or Annapurna of 10-12 days, all the lodges are open. ABC could be prone to avalanches, you have to trek in certain parts only in the very early morning (6 to 10AM).
dont postpone you journey, you might better just come back another time ( should we bet?)
