three weeks in April

Hi Folks
My wife and I are looking to be in Nepal for 3 weeks in April 2008 ,we would like to do the Everest base camp trek and Gyoko Lakes if possible ,
We would like to walk from Jiri ideally ,but may have to fly to Lukla to be able to do this trek in a 3 week time scale
I would appreciate any advice on reccommended times for the Everest base camp and Gyoko trek

Hi Mike

About 15 days ex Lulka to do both if you cross Cho la including a couple of acclimatisation days. Should be ok to cross in April. I walked in from Jiri this year. I do recommend it if you can get the time. It took me 8 days to Namche including the bus trip to Jiri. I used a porter so if carrying your own times could be a little more.
