I will do the Annapurna Circuit trek first half of November, and I was wondering what kind of clothing I would need. Is a fleece and a goretex sufficient, or can it be that cold that I need thermic underwear and warm sweaters etc. when you are above 4000 m ?
Any other advice for the trek (like things not to forget to pack) is welcome as well !

in november, the weather can be very cold. I alwas enjoyed very much my cosy downjacket. In the late afternoon after a hard trekking, there is nothing nicer, even in the unheated lodge. you can rent down jackets for about half 1/2 $ a day in Kathmanduand Pokahra.
Buy some codein Tabletts against strong cold in kathmandu. They are very helpful and you get them without prescription. i would also buy a strip Dexamethasone wich is an emergency drug for severe altiude sicknes (Hace). You just pay the price of a tee and they could help a lot. But still the most important thig is to go up slowly enough.
Earplugs can be very helpful, as the walls between the rooms dont bother any snorring noise, somtime yoou even can look through big holes.
Take some cloth pegs with you and a small rope of ~5 m with you.
you can have a look to some picture on my side www.nepal-dia.de . If you understand a little of german, there is also lot of informatione about AC.
