hi im a 21 years old male searching for a partner who want to travel from nepal ( kathmandou --> to lhassa, Tibet )
( i heard u can make it by bus... so why not make it by bike... :) )

im planning to go for fall 2002.

Hi Etienne,
the problem with Tibetis that it is occupied by the Chinese. The rules for Tourist tavels are changing month by month but most of the time you are just allowed to travel with a organised group.
So be aware that you can have some really pesting troubles.
There are organised groupe bike tours.

If you find a solution to this, I would rather fly to Lhasa an ride back, otherwise you just start with a climb from Nepal at 700m to more than 5000m.
