Hi Teddy

You have to trek through an agency to do the Manaslu trek as you need a special permit only available to organised groups. I havn't done the trek but it's on my list. It's much quieter than AC and you need to camp. There is also a possibility that the pass might be closed by snow. I'm sure you will get some good advice from other experienced users on this bulletin board. I would love to do a combined trek starting on the Manaslu circuit, joining the AC and going to Nar and Phu then to Ngawal, Manang, Tilicho, Thorong La, Muktinath, Kagbeni, Ghorepani and round to ABC before walking out to Phedi - Wow!

This was my second trek. I am heading back to do numnber 6 this Fall. I would do the Manslu circut again though as it is a great trek with many scenic side trips to do as well.
