Budget concerns

HI Julia,
I too will be in Nepal the second week in November. As I am travelling alone, and plan to do some trekking I would be very grateful if you could let me know how you get on.

Just finished a 3 week trek to Gokyo & Kala pattar.

If you are trekking without a guide or porter, you can get by on as little as 500 rupess per day for your food & lodginh, but to be on the safe side and to allow for a few luxuries, I would budget for say 1000-1500 rupess per day.

Hi - I too am going to Nepal on my own - arriving on 2 Nov. Also will be trekking to Everest, so would be glad to hear of your experiences!
