Not as yet but probably not far away.Lots in Kathmandu .They do have electricity for things like hair driers..so i hope you will be O.K.

I do not mean this to sound rude but it really is good to leave some of that stuff behind.
It is different for a lot of people to have outside and quick communication if they are at risk.i.e climbing..ice slopeing etc.even then there are no e mail facilities on an ice face.
Nepal is such a great place to go back a little and check out what it is like to relate in an (old fashioned)way.

There is Discovery Channel or some such "wilderness" programs on TV. You can make a mean Cappucinno, look after the sick children, after the neurotic cat, check the latest news, your stock shares, look after those important accounts, and enjoy the Himalayan scenery from the confort of your lounge or family room.
