Have good trips guys.
Looking forward to see your pictures of Langtang Oli as it was cloudy for 6 days out of 7 when I was in Helambu! Your Nikon DSLR is going to get a good work out.
Good luck with summitting Mera Spaceman and safely making it down, go steady and be careful. You'll be a veteran once you've been to Nepal again! ;)
We'll be getting out for a week in Torridon in the NW of Scotland over Easter which will go some way towards easing the pining (for Nepal not the LYW)! But envy is not a becoming trait.
Someone unnamed will get to try out her brand new PHD sleeping bag too, only the best is good enough!
All the best.

Thanks Escher,
I've just been stocking up on camera & media for the camera. Good job I'll be hiring a flunky to carry my bag so I have my hands free for the camera. (He can also carry my slackline so I can continue top practice my circus tricks, subject to availability of trees)
Oh, and new on Flickr, the much awaited "sets of sets" feature, called "collections" :) (http://www.flickr.com/photos/oliphant/collections/)
Hope you enjoy Torridon

I noticed collections yesterday and managed to waste several hours at work playing with the feature. Overall pretty good but the controls are a little clunky in "organise" - needs some bug fixing. Slack lining looks addictive once you start to progress. I am getting a little bit like that with rock balancing. Have a good time.

Thanks Escher,
I'm not sure what I'm looking forward to most, Mera or Gokyo. You guys have all talked Gokyo up so much I think that I'm actually looking forward to that more, although it's been 6 months since I've strapped on a pair of crampons so once I get them on I reckon I'll have a smile on my face.
Peter Hutchinson should give you a permanent discount card or something, you've got me addicted to the stuff as well. I placed a late order for a new sleeping bag during the recent sale and I'm looking forward to being super snug and warm at high camp regardless of the weather throws at us.
Oli has graciously agreed to deliver it to KTM for me (The TI membership has more benefits that just the regular addiction meetings, "Hi, me name is xxxx, and I'm addicted to Nepal", it also has international courier priviledges).
BTW Oli, I got an email back from PHD and they said that it should ship Monday or Tuesday so you should have it in your hands by the end of next week.
Well that's all from me folks, I've got a plane to catch :D

Thats good. I tried phoning them today and kept getting their answering machine. I hope they are out "testing" their gear rather than slaving to fulfill your order. Assuming it arrives next week it shall be waiting for you in Lukla.
Have a good flight & enjoy Gokyo :)
