Maoist

I have heard that there is a planned armed Maoist demonstration scheduled for the end of September in Kathmandu. I have also heard that all governmental parties are pretty well kowtowing to the Maoist rebels and that they are getting more agressive as a result. So instead of a cease fire, the government may have a violent revolution in the streets of Kathmandu in late September as thousands of Maoists pour into the city. Has anyone else heard anything about this?

I am an adventure tour/travel operator based in Kathmandu and want to assure you and all lovers of Nepal that nothing serious is going happen to the peace & safety to the tourist.You have heard right but as far as I and fellow members of this trade see this as a power pulling game.Maoist dare not disturb the peace by showing or trying to confront the citizens.Enough damage has been done by them now mass public except for few in remote areas are against them. and they know it. Keep smiling the world looks better that way
