I gave my money to this same guy. I paid for 18 days. He marked my receipt for up to 22 days. At the end in Birethanti, after 26 days, I was checked again and forced to pay for another two days, which was duly marked on the back of my receipt.

These guys were nice compared to the lot I ran into between Jiri and Lukla last year. But 5000 Rupees later, and I have a story and a "receipt" that will last.
