Hi everyone,
I will be arriving in Kathmandu mid October. I have between 5 to 7 weeks in Nepal (give or take a few days - flying in & out from Delhi so may spend a week or so there, not sure yet).
With the time frame I have can anyone make a suggestion. This is my first trek, I was considering Everest Base Camp/Gokyo and or Annapurna region. I would want to be back in Kathmandu by about the 23rd Nov, I fly out of Delhi in the last week of November. Have I got enough time for both if I allow 5 and a half weeks in Nepal or should I give more of my time to Nepal.
Thanks,
Milissa

Milissa, its just wonderful that you have so much time, most people have only 3 weeks. You will love Nepal. Just do either the everest trek or the Annapurna region (see my pictures in www.nepal-dia.de), you probably will also like to see the Kathmandu valley and maybee relax a few days in Pokhara so thats another 10 days. When you are in nepal you could decide on the spot to make another little rafting tour and/or go to the chitwan national park. Both are very nice. When you are in India, dont miss to go to Agra, the Taj Mahal i just a wonder. You can either fly from Kathmandu or make a long but cheeper travel by bus and train.
Delhi is a pretty busy major town and sometimes pretty tyering. Compared to India Nepal is much more easy to travel and relax.
Good luck for your tour Andrées (from Germany)
