Is it only possible to reach Jiri by bus, I heard that it is possible to fly but I do not think that this is correct. Also is it possible to arrange the trekking permit in England or does this have to be done in Kathmandu. For the trek to Everest base camp, without porter is likely, does anyone have comment upon what level of warm clothing is necessary for October. Thanks for any help.
