Hi there

I'm planning to do the AC in April. I'm a novice trekker and first-timer in Nepal. I'm looking for a reliable porter-guide. Any recommendations?
I'm going on my own (unless I find some companions) so money-wise a porter-guide seems to be the best option for me.

Thanks for any useful info.

Regards
Anna

I always have to recommend my guide, Krishna Adhikari. He is a guide but I am sure that he would not mind carrying some weight for you. He is an independent guide that also works for one of the trekking companies in Thamel. He is married and lives in Kathmandu. If you want to know anymore details about Krishna, feel free to contact me anytime via PM or you can contact him directly at: mountainguide2005@yahoo.com

Hi Anna,

I'd suggest that you ask the Chhetri Sisters in Pokhara. They have a guest house and trekking service that often recommended, particularly by single independent ladies. Sorry I don't have a direct contact at hand but they should be easy to find.

Hope that helps
