Annapurna area Jan/Feb 2007

Hi there, I'm a 33yr old UK bloke based in Kathmandu and am planning to do one side or other of the Annapurna circuit from around 20 Jan or so. The timing and route is pretty flexible. Weather permitting it would be good to try Thorung-la but we could decide in Manang/Mukinath area.

I'm on my own and keen to save money! If there are 2 or more of us we could think about hiring a porter/guide to ease the strain!

I'll be in Nepal (probably Pokhara) around the 10 or 15th of Feb.


I was looking at 10 to 15 days treks in the Annapurna region.
I'm a girl keen on saviong money and seeing the best hence looking for at least another mate.

I've found 2 guides recommended on the internet (trekinfo.com) with their own insurance for $15 a day.

At the moment I'm trekking in Laos.

Let me know if my timing, lenght of trekking fits with your schedule. It'd be great to hook up with another person for me!

I'll add my info into the mix! annapurna in late jan sounds excellent. I'm 37, female from colorado, USA, fit, cheap :) so sharing a porter & going with no guide is great for me. I'm in nepal for 3 months so a longer trek would be just fine.

let me know if your plans are really happening, cause if you're game, I'd like to join. I get to nepal around 5 jan & will give you a ring.
