I will be trekking in the khumbu with a friend from the 8th of March onwards for about 3 weeks.
Am looking to Climb Mera after she leaves. Am inviting anyone who might be interested in putting together a group to save on costs.
Permits are around $350 and can hold 4-5 people. I have made inquiries into over all costs for porters, guides, equipment and supplies. Looks like it is around $1100 not including climbing crampons and harnesses but that is about another $50-100 for the whole time max. The price i have collected is on the basis that you will already be in lukla.
But with this you can cut out all the crap of pick up from the airport and sightseeing in KTM. This is raw costs of trekking.
I am selling my beloved Nikon F100 camera and 2 lenses to fund this climb, so you can tell im serious. Doo a little google, look around at prices and if you think its for you. Im on a budget if you are too email me miles_louis@hotmail.com
