I see that Cosmic Air allows you to make reservations online. I know we want a one way ticket for February 24th.

Is it worth booking it online before we leave? Has anyone done this from home and if so were there any hassles once there?
thanks

Sorry should have also said we want to fly Pokhara to Jomsom on the 26th Feb (2 days later)
I dont want to lose days by being stuck in Kathmandu or Pokhara if there isnt availability when we get there (or is this very unusual)?

I've never had a problem booking exactly what I wanted when already in Kathmandu and Pokhara. I may have just been lucky but I have flown internally 9 times and always got a seat for the next day. I have heard mixed things about booking online - from what I have heard they only reserve the ticket once you are sat in their office in Kathmandu or Pokhara anyway, whatever their website says. But this might have changed.

It's low season too when you want to fly so I can't see it being a problem. And lastly I don't see an extra day spent in either Pokhara or kathmandu as a waste. I absolutely love both places and I always put aside some days to enjoy them so it won't be hassle if you do have to wait an extra day.

Thanks for the feedback Escher. Ill do as you suggest and wait until we're there.

As to the time in Pokhara and Kathmandu, we're really looking forward to both Pokhara and Kathmandu but want to enjoy them both at the end of the trek so we can really kick back and enjoy it.... before the trek well just want to get into and be hanging to start and this is why I described it as "stuck".
thanks again
