Everest Base Camp

Looking for info on how much time is needed to hike to Everest Base Camp. Are there any suggested routes ? I will be in Nepal from 18 Sep until 5 Oct. Can it be done in this amount of time ?

Yes but you will need to either fly in or out of Lukla or fly both ways,if you are only flying one way your time will be tight so you should not hang around in Kathmandu too long.Also if you have a connecting international flight leave enough time to fly out of Lukla if this is what you choose to do.Sometimes there are problems with the planes.It is also important you check wether the improvements to the runway at Lukla have been completed.Otherwise it is a Helicopter from Pablung.
