Medical Evacuations Insurance

There are many different insurance policies available in Oz.
I am shopping for a policy that covers general medical expenses, hospitalisation and mainly medical evacuations including
high-altitude helicopter rescue. Can anyone recommend a reliable company?

Regarding the right insurance for Nepal, to include medical helicopter evacuations, you can talk to Thor Adventure Travel pn 1800 801119 or 08-8232 3155. In Australia they are the best specialists in anything to do with travel to Nepal.I have used them for booking flights, insurance etc. They are excellent, the company manager, Tahsi, is a Nepali of Tibetan origin.
Ask for Michael Hart or Suzie Walker.

"They are excellent". I second that. Rang Michael Hart last Thursday and a couple of brochures were received a few days later. I would use their service if I were notified earlier.
Other options are: International Travel Insurance, Cover More, and Tour Safe.
