Can I get a tourist visa in Khatmandu?

Can I get a tourist visa upon arriving in Nepal or do I have to get one here in the United States? I have been trying to ring the two embassies here in NYC and Washington, DC and am unable to get an answer.

Yes you can get a Nepalese visa at border crossings and at the airport. You need the exact money in US Dollars cash
