Last year in Khumbu we spent 350 to 900 NRs per day per person including all food and tea, double or triple rooms in lodges and a hot shower. Cheapest was at the roadhead in Jiri, most expencieve in Gokyo. Those sums equaled 6 to 14 USD per day. Should be similar in Jomsom area.
Calculate extra for beer and coke and take some money for emergencies.

For 100 - 250 Ruppies a night you have a double room.

Hi Simon
How would you like to do it, with a local guide or without it and what is your budget? Please let me know at raajkhand@yahoo.com. I am based in Kathmandu and am a adventure tour/travel operator but I am not the usual sort of the crowd.I am very flexible and operate on cleints choice and price.I have paying guest accomodation available in my house so that my cleints can feel at home.
