Piecing Together treks to Mustang and Dolpo

I am curious if this could be done, seems to me that yoiu can get to Dolpo from just South of Kegbeni... could you make a Mustang/Dolpo trek?

You can conect Upper Mustang and Inner Dolpo without going all the way back to Kagbeni by following a route which connects Ghemi and Charka. Of course you can enter Dolpo either via Kagbeni or via Jomsom.
But it will be an expensive trek since the tax for Inner Dolpo is the same as for Upper Mustang...
