I realize this is a Nepal trekking forum, however, I believe that there are many people around the world that could assist my friend and I with trekking information for Africa. We went to Nepal in March of 2005 solely on the information we found in this forum...thus, I trust most of what is said.

We would like to do Kilimanjaro and a 2-3 day safari afterwards. Has anyone done this? Any recommendations of trekking companies? Any useful information on the Kili trek would be grealty appreciated.

Thanks,

SH

Hello Trekking Tiger,

In case no one can help you on this forum there is another website
http://7summits.com/

This website is full of useful information on everything you need to know about Kilimanjaro and there is a great forum too where you can get answers to all your questions..

Good luck

Hi Tiger,

We did this with a small group about 10 year ago with Zara international.
She is still very active in the field and one of the best organisations.I've seen her two year ago on the holiday fairs in Utrecht (NL)
Don't have any reliable address anymore, but for shure you will find her on the web.
Cheers,
Harry
